\I have been teaching this course for over twenty years, both in partnership with Julia Cameron and alone. You will hardly be surprised to learn that I've lost count of how many people I've known who have reported that The Artist's Way has changed their creative lives for the better and the good.

So no matter whether you're new to The Artist's Way or have been involved in the work for many years, this 6-week "Artist's Way Intensive" will deepen your understanding of how to use "The Artist's Way" tools and philosophy in all aspects of your life.

James Navé’s poetry bathes you in light, luminous, tender, and fierce. Navé and I have worked together and have been friends for over 20 years. He is a passionate traveler and a compassionate companion to those he meets. His work as a writer, storyteller, teacher, and exemplar is an important force for change.

Here are a few facts about my current and past work. I'm the founder and director of The Taos Poetry Festival, The Taos Storytelling Festival, and The LEAF Festival Poetry Slam. Julia Cameron and I founded The Artist's Way Creativity in Taos, 1995-2003, see the Julia Cameron radio interview on this page. I host Twice-5-Miles Radio: Fertile Ground for Conversations Worth Having. Twice-5-Miles goes on-air three times a week on WPVMFM 103.7 from downtown Asheville. I'm a founding member (2009) of TEDxNewYork Salon which meets each Friday in New York.  I hold an MFA in Poetry from Vermont College Fine Arts; I've memorized over six hundred poems and have performed thousands of storytelling and spoken word shows throughout the world. I've been teaching writing, performance, and creativity based on The Artist's Way for over thirty years. I've learned to trust the creative power of the human spirit which includes you and everyone I meet. Thank you for your support.

I reside in the Appalachia mountains in a magical city called Asheville. I am a fire-starter for bringing community together through movement arts, music, and earth-based ceremonies. I am a yoga facilitator, integrative massage therapist, sound alchemist & a ritual performance artist. I graduated from Prescott College with a degree in Expressive Healing Arts and Florida School of Massage with a focus on Thai-massage and Earth based healing modalities. I feel passionate towards creating experiences which influence people to radically love themselves. Some of my offerings include sound healings with the drum, movement rituals, original songs and storytelling. I feel the most alive when we can come together through our creativity for cultural peace, authentic expression and honoring our beautiful planet. I look forward to sharing my movement interludes with you.
